Maribell and your AI assistant
Maribell

If you use an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, you can now ask it to talk to me. It can tell you what I am watching, add a new product or set an alert for you, without opening the app.

It is completely optional. If you don't use it, nothing changes: I keep watching your prices just like always.

Things you can ask
  • "Watch this link: https://…"
  • "Let me know if these trainers drop below €20."
  • "Which Amazon products do I have in Maribell?"
  • "Is there an alert on the Carrefour olive oil?"
  • "How has the coffee maker's price moved this past month?"
  • "Check the robot vacuum every hour instead of once a day."
What it can and can't do
It will be able to
  • See your products, their prices and your alerts
  • Add products for me to watch
  • Create, change and remove alerts
  • Change how often I check a product
It won't be able to
  • Delete products
  • See or change your password
  • Touch anything to do with payments
  • Anything outside Maribell
You decide

The first time you connect an assistant I will ask you to sign in, and I will show you which assistant it is and what it will be able to do. If you are not sure, press "Cancel" and nothing happens.

You can take the permission back whenever you like. Soon you will be able to do it from your account; until then, write to me at hola@maribell.es and I will remove it.

For advanced users: how to connect it

I talk to assistants through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the standard almost all of them use. This is the address to give your assistant:

https://auth.maribell.es/functions/v1/mcp

In every case, connecting opens your browser so you can sign in to your Maribell account and give me permission.

Claude (web and desktop app)
  1. Go to Customize > Connectors.
  2. Click "+ Add", then "Add custom connector".
  3. Name it "Maribell", paste the address above and click "Continue" until you reach "Add".
  4. In a chat, click the "+" button, open "Connectors" and turn Maribell on.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization admin adds the connector (Organization settings > Connectors) and then each person clicks "Connect". The free plan allows one custom connector.

Claude Code

In your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http maribell https://auth.maribell.es/functions/v1/mcp

Add --scope user if you want it in all your projects. Then, inside Claude Code, type /mcp, choose Maribell and sign in.

ChatGPT
  1. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins.
  2. Click "+", then "Add custom MCP server".
  3. Name it "Maribell", paste the address above, accept the warning ("I understand and want to continue") and click "Create as a plugin".
  4. In a new chat, type @ and choose Maribell.

Depending on your plan or workspace, this option may not show up for you yet.

Codex CLI

In your terminal:

codex mcp add maribell --url https://auth.maribell.es/functions/v1/mcp
codex mcp login maribell

Or, if you prefer, in ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.maribell]
url = "https://auth.maribell.es/functions/v1/mcp"
Cursor

Add it to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (for every project) or to .cursor/mcp.json (for just one):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "maribell": {
      "url": "https://auth.maribell.es/functions/v1/mcp"
    }
  }
}

The first time Cursor uses it, it will ask you to sign in to your Maribell account.
